Do either of these look to be Civil war bullets?

Maybe the one on the left but thats just a guess.
You have some good detecting down there on base. I may just join the Marines:smile:

The musket ball looks to be a .69 caliber and the bullet looks like an enfield maybe. Both are civil war

Bot of them I dug up in the front yards here on base at about 7 in deep!

Havelock is close to beaufort there were a lot of movements of troops around that area. Keep on looking you will find more. Do some research and you might be able to locate a camp.

OK James I'll look into it thanks!!!! I know there was a union forces beach landing that took place here on base but not sure of any camps!

:cool: Found this weekend, .69 conical, hand made nipple protector, and straight razor blade. :mean:
