About how long will it take for me to drive that far North? It takes me about 3 1/2 hours to get to DC.

Sounds like you have a awesome time when you all get together, being that I'm active duty Navy scheduling down the road can be tough at times.

try map quest to beckley, w va. I would guess 5 to 6hrs. never have drivin to VA beach.

I'll have to pass on coming up for now, maybe once my ship goes into Holiday Standdown around XMAS I'll be able to get enough time off to drive up. I do appreciate the offer, and if you get down towards Virginia way let me know I'll meet you somewheres.
