Another good bullet weekend

Actually this is from the last two Saturdays, about a total of 10 hours. Once it cools down I'll be able to put in 10 hours a day, it's just too hot. I soaked through my shirt in the 1st hour, and killed 3 liters of water in the 5 hours. Even the money in my wallet was wet, and it seemed alot cooler this weekend compared to last, but there just wasn't any breeze.

Question - Since my Lyme disease earlier this year, I wear my lacrosse knee high boots, my snake guardz (came across 4 copperheads this spring), long cargo pants, a long sleeved shirt and a backpack. Do you all go to the same extreme as I do or should I do the tick pick when I get home. I'm actually thinking my boots can go since I've been hunting in dry areas and just wear the snake guards with short boots and shorts.

& safe. I wear shorts unless I am going to be in stinging nettles. Am not afraid of snakes and know how to avoid them if I do run into them. Ticks are something else,you got to look for them often here as they can be bad.:cool:

What matters is how you feel about what you wear. Due to the high heat and humidity here I could not wear so much.

I know I'm losing hours of hunting time by over dressing, I'm going to deal with
the ticks and poison ivy in shorts.
