Hey Tom

Great finds I know this is gonna sound dumb but I have found a ton of the bullets that seemed to look like your mini ball and always thought it was just a random lead never crossed my mind that it was a bullet do you have any idea how many I have tossed cause i thought it was just random man thats crazy that that just crossed my mind. I'm a coin shooter mostly so this may be a big reason why.

Keep up the great work thanks for the pics I enjoyed them

Thanks Will Lane

I rarely find carbine bullets. Some CSA soldier must have picked it up after a large battle in our state. The mainly used the smooth bore .69 with round ball ammo in the early part of the war in this area.

very nice finds! i think those indian head pennies are smashing! you get a lot of those lead bullets and musket balls over here and they are always a welcome find, you have found an interesting site to hunt there, what date was your war? (not something i was taught about) nice to see things found in other countries! regards from sue.:bthumb:
