Hello Everyone,
Hope you want mind me sharing some of my old finds? I'm new to this Forum and LOVE IT!! Thought I'd show some stuff I've found over the 9 1/2 year I've been detecting. The Nicely Gilted Coat Louisiana Button was my first dug button and was found on my 5th digging trip.......Talk about a TRIP!!
If You all want mind, I'll be showing off some more stuff soon? I have Indian Artifacts I Personally found from the early 70's to the late 80's. I gave it up because of finding more foot prints than Flint. I do find a few points here and there but most of this stuff is Old Finds as well. I have several coins to show as well! Most were found in Civil War Camps/Sites but a few have been found around old home places. Please let me know if I'm doing wrong......posting this old found br**** iron, flint, glass and Silver stuff!!

Not Trying To Cause Any Problems.....Just Share My Lucky Finds From Years Past! This New Quattro Keeps Calling Me, but the Hot Weather and Very Dry Ground Keeps Me Here Most Days!
Thanks To All For Looking!
Hoping I Can Help With Any Questions/Comments and Can Be Accepted Within This Forum!

I'll see if I can get some pictures of it for you guys to see, but I'll relate the story to you. I have a buddy in Minnesota who stops by our place every summer (SW Pa) on his way to and from a large music festival in West Virginia. Alnog the way, he stops at antique shops.

Last year, he stopped at a small shop and spied a folding knife. If you look closely, you can see that the blade was rendered from an old file. It's very nicely crafted. The knife has the confederate seal of Louisiana (I think) on the handle, which I recall has a bunch of geese on it.

I'll see if he'll email me a couple pictures of it. The selling price at the antique shop....60 bucks. It was brought in and sold to the shop owner by an old man in his 90's who said it had been in his family.

It's an outstanding piece....when you see it, I''m sure you'll agree.
