Posting these for A.J., this guy kills me. He hunts the same place I do but comes up with 2 button backs and a full button. Some of these came from our other spot in base housing except for the CW stuff. The large object at the top is a whatisit for pappy along with the little buckle looking dohicky. To the right are his two button backs and his full button, we cant make out any details on the front of it but on the back it says "EARL & LEE SUPER" on it. The two button backs have writing on them as well but we need to clean them a bit to make them out. The foil looking thing under the buttons was part of one of the button backs, its brittle and has the eagle and shield on it or parts of them. The disk thing is another whatisit, it was dug at around 8" deep in the same area as the buttons. Thanks for looking...HH...Bill

I hope you guys are gonna have those finds with you Saturday for me and Xcalibur to check out. Do I need to bring my weedeater with the blade on it? That will make short work of some of that under brush.

Hey Bill or A.J, I was just re-looking at the above pics and noticed the shield piece. Does it have any markings on...that you can make out. This is either a saddle shield or possiblya Corps Badge. I would like to see a pic of just it...if you can. Very nice find also!

It was identified as some kind of political emblem from the 1800's, dont remember what exactly, its in one of the "ask pappy" forums.
