It is a clay, pipe stem fragment, very common finds in a CW period camp site. It was actually on the surface, no digging required. My favorite type of find! LOL.

It looks like you found some more after we left for the rodeo, did you stay in the same place after we left? I'll post pictures of my weekend finds alittle later, my button cleaned up real nice!!!....HH.....Bill
