12-11-05 Bullets

From my post at the Finds section. Three bullets I dug today; .577 cal , .54 cal Burnside, carved bullet and (not pictured) a .31 cal pistol ball.

Travis, why do the 2 bullets pictured seperately look like they are carved? I am real curious about the civil war era bullets. I would like to post some bullets and have you give em a look see:biggrin:

Rusty, It's the same bullet just different angle. It has been carved down! Please post your stuff I would love to see it all and will do my best to help ID if you want it! I like all the CW related stuff you are putting on here! So far the CW section here is getting off to a great start!
