I didn't go digging Saturday or yesterday, Christmas Sunday but I went back to the same Old Home Place today! Found my first silver piece (on this property) and it's seen many better days! Looks as if the Hog that chewed the .69 Round put it's teeth on this 1908 Barber several times, spit it out and then chew on it some more and a bull dozer ran over it a few times:rofl: ! The worst silver coin I've ever dug except for the Half Dime that was ran over by a train, but I really think that one looks better. Anyway a couple more coin cuff buttons, round balls (drop, spent & chewed) and several brass rivets, etc. I haven't a clue on the lead with the slot nor the oval brass with two holes. I also found a mangled small brass buckle and several other brass & lead items. I tried the Quattro with the 8" concentric coil, got her to work next to the electric fence and she sniffed out my first keeper (the coin button without the shank). Then she started giving mixed signals and after digging 4 straight junk targets, I put her to rest and got out Old Faithful to finished the day!
Thanks For Looking,
Hoping Everyone Had A Great Christmas!!
Happy Hunting, Awaiting This Friday, Roger
