Yesterday I went to New Bern for a day of hunting with NB Digger, and what a beautiful day it was! We started out in the thickets, battling briars and thorns, and I even broke a sweat, with not much success. We soon moved on to some open terrain and had some better luck. My first find was a partial piece of silverware that had the markings ‘Crown Silver Co.’ on it. Then I found the .69 caliber three ringer, some melted lead, and some other miscellaneous pieces. Also found the NY button. I’m not sure if it’s Civil War or not as the back looks to be a bit too modern. I ended the day with another Williams cleaner bullet. All in all it was a great day to be out hunting and especially with new friends.:bthumb:

Hey Mark,
Glad you and Travis were able to get out and enjoy the weather, fellowship & some more finds! You are correct about the NY button being modern.
Hope Your Able To Swing Many More Days!
Keep Up The Good Work, HH, Roger
