Hello My Friends,
I returned yesterday to the same ole location! Gained permission once again to unplug the electric fence so I could search a great looking spot. It didn't turn out as expected as this seems to be the place that garbage was thrown since the first home place until present. I was digging aluminum, aluminum, aluminum and did I mention ALUMINUM! I plugged the fence back up and went to the front yard. The old house (was moved into in 1934.....unknown as to when it was built) has been torn down and another house built close by and lived in until 2 year ago. The scan shows the best pickings of the day! I also dug clad (1-dime, 1-Nickle & 9-cents), 6 complete horse shoes, and an assortment of junk aluminum, brass & lead.
The scan shows an Epaulet Pan, Unknown Brass with a Brass Rivet, Brass Ring (Knapsack or Briddle?), Aluminum ring with design, vest size button with the iron back missing, 4 wheaties, etc

Maybe The Relic God Will Open Up Once Again?
Need To Dig Something Great Again!
Thanks For Looking, HH, Roger

Hey tgsman, That is a State Tax Token made of Aluminum. These were given to make up the difference in payment of the Land Tax and stopped using around 1960. I have found these from several different states. The US TVA brass/copper disc had a nail through the hole (I removed that) and is associated with the electric lines (Power Company) in this area.
If your interested in Indian Artifacts, check out this site as I've been cleaning and scanning all day! I'll post more soon!!
