Hi Tennesee,
I apologize for my weak eyes this morning. Can you tell me what the markings are on the button face? I think that I see some dates, or other along the bottom. Congrats on your first button find!

Well I found the button awhile back I have even posted it here just never found out if it had any value. On the front is a rebel flag and arched across the top it has the letters CSA and the bottom nubers are 1861-65 I think those are the numbers

Oh...OK! I do see the flag now! I would venture a guess that it is a post war, veterans type, button. Don't know what kind a value it would have. I will look and get back to you!
Best Regards,
Travis

I don,t know about the value, but it is a post CW button for a veterans group.I saw one on the waterbury button company website.
A nice find ,especially when You think of the other things that may be found on the site,as a veteran very likely brought back some souveneers, and they may still be there....
Happy hunting,Mont
