Hello My Friends,
I started out this morning knocking on doors. The first stop, no answer. The second stop, no answer! The third stop, the sons and grandsons are metal detecting this property! The fourth stop, the man said his step-son owned the property and didn't want to let anyone hunt as he would feel obligated to let everyone and he didn't want that many people over running his property! The fifth stop, back to where I parked while digging last Saturday!
I crossed the ditch, went on top of the ridge (even though it was clear cut about 3 year ago). This ridge has sage brush about chest high and scattered small pine trees. I found a path/old road bed, passed by some large Tin (old barn or house place) and walked to an area that has recently been pushed around (25' x 50'). Some modern junk lay exposed but I found a .44 Colt Pistol Bullet right off. I searched this area slowly and crossed my pattern several times! The scan shows what I brought out of an area about 25' x 25'. A few look to be chewed but I believe they were damaged from the natural gravel on this ridge. I sure wish this place was where I could walk and swing it better!! Maybe someday a future digger will be able to walk and swing this Camp with much more to show than I?
Thanks For Looking,
Hoping Everyone Had A Great Day Digging/Looking, Roger
