Nice finds JD. Always like seeing fresh CW finds posted here! Which pieces inparticular do need help ID'ing? If its any of the items at the top left of the pic can you retake a snap, close-up of them and I would be glad to help you the best I can!! Keep up the good finds!

Very cool finds J.D. The peices at the top look like parts of a harmonica, not too sure about the others but nice finds anyway!

Hello JD, Very nice finds indeed. I like finding those Camp dropped coins! For that matter I like finding anything of interest!
I can make out the Knapsack "J" Hook, the long slender piece with the long slot is off an Air Organ, the lower right brass ring could be off a Knapsack and I'll need close ups of the other items you need assistance with.
Thanks For Showing Us & Continued Good Luck, HH, Roger

I've found several of these in various lengths at different sites. I thought that my artifacts book is where I saw and read about these.....but I didn't find it there a few minutes ago. I've did a Google search a few times trying to find what they looked like without luck. It's not a harmonica! I'll have to research more and ask questions (can't remember where I saw them shown several year ago) :banghead: . Roger

I know of a couple of local towns that had scumishes during the CW but can't find anything on them. One of the towns no longer exists, and I can't even pinpoint were the town was. Carrollton, Ar is the town I can't find, and I've been down every road I can think of out there. I'd love to find more information about my area!!! Boone/Carroll/Newton Counties. If anyone has any info, that would be GREAT!!!!!!!!!!:bthumb:
