RAW's Finds on 02-26-2006

I put in a full 7 hours of walking today. The relics were scattered more and I pounded it hard! Not exactly what I was looking for but I'll take it any day! Was expecting to find more brass and the few confederate buttons I dug turned out to be the flat type GA. buttons.......Ya know, the Shotgun Brass type :biggrin: .
Who would have believed the only button I could find turns out to be a US "I". I'm thinking some of the stuff is in the dozer piles just down the hill?
Here is today's keepers.

I'll Go Back.....haven't found out where the old road went exactly but I'll be asking or walking and looking.......it's all pasture now!

All I can say is WOW Roger! That is some serious lead there! What is the ID on that little bugger next to the Remingtons? Sorta looks like a Smith and Wesson Long. I am also shocked not to see more brass from that spot! You may be right about the bulldozer piles though! Keep on hunting it hard man!
