I searched the old home place at the gate and found the brass item....suspender buckle? I walked from the gate towards the Camp I have searched so many times swinging all the way. I took, Old Fateful as I can't find a mode to hunt under the Powerlines with the Quattro. I kicked the barbed wire around for a while and found a few .69 rounds that I had missed before. I finally crossed back over the fence, lowered the discrimination and dug everything that made a good whisper!
Yep, I dug the other S&W but it's seen better days (showing the best side)! Two wormed .69 rounds, bulb nose .577, .577, .54 and the .36 Remingtons. One has been loaded but hasn't been wormed.....wondering how it was removed? Anyway, another slow day and all I can think is this CS regiment had wooden buttons, non-metallic or none at all?
