Are these civil war buttons?

Found these buttons along with others in an old house I was checking out. I was given permission to metal detect which I will do at a later date. Does anybody recognize these. Are they old enough? The button on the left has writing on the back but its not readable and the one on the right has no writing. Thanks for any help.

One on the left looks good, one on right i was told is a post war type. Others know more than me. They will see them in time. Nice finds.

Thanks for the info. I did a little research and found that a lot of the buttons were made between 1850-1865. Thanks FREE2DTECT for your response. Scott :bthumb:
