help in virginia

Does anyone have any history or treasure tales,possible civil war camps in rappahannock county,madison county or page county virginia?Newby here and hard to find out about it.Seems people around here have forgotten. thanks

If you can get out anywhere in Rappahannock then you should be able to find quite a bit a CW period stuff. That area is prime civil war area! Try old house sites! those always worked for me. There was sooo much cavalry movement through that area!!!!! I have hunted around (little) Washington a bit and had very good luck! Several large camps there as well! Anywhere you see a bulldozer taking out ground hit it hard! Wish I was still living in Northern VA. Miss the good relic hunting!
