While I hate to see any ground torn up for development, the relic hunter part of me does not seem to mind! As is the case this week, as a section of ground is being dozed for a ball field not 2 blocks from my house. I have been able to get out the last couple of days and dig this spot, along with a few other hunters, and this is what I have gotten so far. I have seen 2 Connecticut coat buttons, Navy buttons, New York buttons, all kinds a great old coins, old rings, CS Kepi button and many bullets being pulled from this section of ground. Everyone hunting here is having a blast and I have met some great relic hunters. More to come as they continue work! Thanks for looking.

Here's 2 I am adding. It is an eclectic lot of relics from several periods of time! Not only CW, but colonial and some turn of the century items! This groud has been walked on quite a bit over the years!

Great digs bud. But be carefull of news crews, or saying something is worth money. Remember thats how the relic hunters lost there rights to dig after roads being torn up in New Bern.

Hey Travis,
First off I'm proud to see someone has a place to dig! Second, I'd be Proud to have dug those Relics! Third, You mentioned a few Rare to me US Buttons and even a CS Button........You need to adjust your detector to the "Most Sought Button" mode.....LOL! Just joking! Keep up with the Dozer and continued Good Luck!!
