The Cedar Creek/ Battle of Middletown Va. reenactment is coming up soon. If anyone can get to this reenactment it is a good one! It is the only reneactment that is allowed on actual CW battleground (large scale)!! I used to live about 15 miles from there and we could here the artillery fire every time the reenactment was on! A buddy and I were out digging one day and heard this rumble like thunder. We realized it was the reenactment going on. Sorta erie to be out digging relics and here cannon fire from replica CW period cannons.
