I returned from Cancun, Mexico on April 21, and this is my first dig since April 6. Drove by a spot of interest without any details yet and ventured on to some hunted out places. First place is grown up too much so I went back to a pasture area where I'd found a couple bullets, part of a brass stirrup and all of a damaged spur a few year ago. About an hour into my hunt and nothing more than the end off two rimfire hulls, I got a loud signal like big iron but my meter went into the green zone. This signal was just down the hill from where the brass Spur & part of the brass Stirrup was found. I remember digging some aluminum cans and pieces of in this area as well. Anyway, out with the shovel and flipped over the dirt and saw rust in several places with this CS Tongue looking right at me! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!AND THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YESSSSSSSS YESSSSSSSSSS YESSSSSSSS!!!
It wasn't but an inch or so deep and has some nicks and marks from the disc where they cut up this pasture and seed but I'll keep it! It's my first CS marked plate! The only other relic was a shot .69 cal. round ball.

It wasn't but an inch or so deep and has some nicks and marks from the disc where they cut up this pasture and seed but I'll keep it! It's my first CS marked plate! The only other relic was a shot .69 cal. round ball.
