It's a cautionary tale http://cwpforums.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
Went to hunt a yard this morning with my good friend Terry.
This yard sits almost directly on the Confederate main line (Dec 15th)
After 4 hours, all we found were matchbox cars (8 of them), pennies, and a few odd lead pieces.... very disappointing.
But such is the neighborhood hunt, I am learning.
A few buttons and a handful of bullets can attest to some of the victories though.
I had my hopes up for about 2 weeks with this yard...
There are some lessons to be learned in the sport of Relic Hunting... I'm not completely sure what they are at this point but I think they might have something to do with patience, respect and moderation.
Anyway, couldn't take the defeat... so I ignored the clients calling on the cell and hit a tried and true area... and came up with this .58 3 ringer in about 20 minutes... called it a day.
