Nothing special but the best (most complete) Ration Can I've ever dug (really just under the leaves)! Just look at the LEAD on this can.....the top/bottom and the seam down the side is nothing but LEAD!!!! Wow, If the bullet didn't hit You then I guess one would pass in the night from eating Lead??
Anyway, I finally got out (away from WORK & THE HOUSE) and had a fair day!! I also found an old axe head.
The finds are from two different places!
Thanks For Looking, Roger

Glad to see you finally took a break. That's not a bad days finds for around here. Is that part of a lockplate in the right-hand picture?
Keep swingin that coil and maybe we'll all get lucky one of these days.

Nice finds..The pistol bullet with the deep rifling marks makes me curious. I have dug a few bullets form the Pratt rd area that have the same rifling do you know what type gun or guns that would make such..Way to go hope you get out more this winter.

Hey Raymond and Danny, yes that is part of a lock plate and I threw it down. I finally thought what it was and picked it back up!
Hey Will, on page 169 in the M&M book list several 7 grooves but this bullet measures around .44 so I assume it from a Colt Rifle?
Thanks For Looking, GL, HH, Roger

Glad you got to do some diggin finally. I like to see a good post. You need to hook up with TEAM WHITES and see if we can convert you. They got me and Raymond to convert and it was the best move we ever made.
Good Luck
