Happy Happy end of year dig!!!

Well...I had not planned on getting a dig in today. I had planned on getting some trap/skeet shooting in with my son, but, being 14 he quickly decided a freinds house was way more interesting! So....I grabbed up my daughter and headed to the In-laws house for a visit! I brought the detector with me just in case I might get a few minutes to hit the field beside thier house. The field has produced a number of bullets for me over the years even though it was hammered during the 80's and 90's by other hunters! Today I got a big surprise!!!!!!!
I was at it for 3-5 minutes when I got my first decent signal! Low and behold out pops a Block I!!!!!!!!! This is a big first for me and in 12 years of hunting only my second true CS button!!! Brought up a couple bullets in the next 45 minutes then called it quits! Found 2 claws as well but no clue what animal they came from!!! There was an Indian encampment at this same spot so maybe a bear claw necklace!!! LOL!!!

That sure is a nice button great find.. You gotta find me at the pre-hunt meeting at DIV..I will be with Shilohdigger and Tsgman. We are ridding together..We should be in on the 26th around noon..and hoping to dig on thursday moring..

That is a really nice Block I !!!!!!!!!!! What a way to end the year. I dont blame you I would have quit early too, hard to top that one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
