Need help with ID

I dug these back in the summer at a place on the Hatchie river, Estanaula. The ground was very hard and, yes I hit the brass:mad:. I could not find anymore of it. Can anyone make out what it is? I wanna think "Jeff Davis", :rolleyes: but I don't know.

The buckle was found at the same place. I just put it in there just for fun!!:p

Not Jeff Davis Hat pin.I tried to Id it dude,but cant come up with anything concrete.But then again.IM tired and only spent an hour searching for you.Daniel
