The enfields are some of my first ever and they were both marked in the base cavity...one had a a 57 stamp and the other a 5 so thats pretty cool.. I pleadge to get a btter camera this year so I can take higher grade photos..

Nice finds Mark! Just wondering if it could be a faint or missing "7" in the cavity of the one you mentioned as being a "5"????? Just compare the two side by side.....if it is a "5" then that is a Rare item around these parts as far as I've ever heard!!!!

Nice Bullets and trigger guard. That's about the only part of a rifle i have not found yet, but still looking of course. Again very nice finds and HH in the future!!

Nope the base mark is a 5 for sure and the trigger guard is part of a spur!!

nice going on the Enfields,I know they aint easy to come by,not to mention marked one at that wahoo! Daniel
