1864 skirmish. found over the last 2 years.found a couple of round balls and a canteen piece there also. have found a few .58s but pic is too big. 2 pieces on the top right of bullet pic have been chewed on.

yeah hopefully. coulda been chewed by a soldier getting surgery. congrats that is awsome.

few that were wounded were able to ride away. found on a hillside so i am guessing they were just scared. it was a night action and a light to operate by would have drawn union fire.but heck,who knows except the guy who chewed it.anything is possible i guess.:rocketwho
